The Card Game of Blackjack
What are the basic rules in the game of blackjack? First of all, blackjack is a card game where you have to play against the casino dealer-not the other participants at the table. The main goal in the game is getting a total of twenty-one without busting out. To begin a game, sit down and place your cash on the layout. Do not give your money directly to the dealer. The dealer will get your money later on and give you the chips. Place your desired wager and do not lay a hand on the cards.
You have to relay your decisions to the dealer by using hand signals. When you want to get another card, tap the blackjack layout using your index finger and say hit. The dealer will require you to execute the hand signal for the surveillance camera. If you are not interested to get another card, place your hand flat and wave it in a side to side motion.
Some of the basic strategy that is used in the game are 1st; the dealer will give the player a pair of cards. If your pair of cards has a total of seventeen, you have to stand. Do not get another card. Anything smaller than twelve, you will get another card. You can even double down. The weak hands are named stiff. Those card hands that have a total of twelve, thirteen, fourteen, fifteen or sixteen.
2nd, if you are given a stiff, look at the cards that the dealer is featuring. If the dealer has a number seven or a stronger card, get another card. Always think that the card that is not coming up is a ten card. That is because about a third of the cards in a deck are then cards like the face cards. 3rd, if the casino dealer has a big chance of possessing a stiff card hand (a two, three, four, five and six), you can hope that the third card of the dealer will bust.
Then you can stand on the ten, twelve, thirteen, fourteen, fifteen or sixteen. 4th, soft card hands. Since the ace card can possess a value of one or eleven and an Ace-six can be considered as a seven or seventeen. You can hit a soft card hand under eighteen like what the dealer does until the card hand becomes a stiff.
5th, always practice your skill. 6th, do not place yourself in the 3rd base. That is the place to the left and in the dealer's right side. The reason why is that you will be blamed if anything happens. 7th, give the appropriate tip for the service rendered by the dealer.
8th, Doubling Down. If you have an eleven and the casino dealer possess a four, five or six, then you want to grab the opportunity to double down in the game. When doubling down, you will put a wager that is the same to your first wager next to the original wager. That will show that you want to double down.
9th, splitting your cards in the game. When you have a pair of the same card, you can divide them and play them as two hands. To split your current card hand, you have to place a second wager. You can split ace cards and 8's. You should not split 10's.
